cómo trepan por el alma
y se enredan, como las campanillas
por el tronco seco y se hace frondoso,
las palabras
que describen con bondad a tu hijo.
Fue un encuentro fugaz,
algo más que un hola y adiós,
una ola de emoción
como un tsunami en el que se ahogan
las dudas y renovar la fe
que nunca debiera desnutrirse.
Estoy buscando sintagmas para engarzar,
con los que agradecértelo;
trato de ensartarlos
y hacerte con ellos un collar de fruiciones,
como tributo no exigido
y autoimpuesto;
pero sólo me vienen a los labios
besos con los que emborrizar tus elogios
y hacerlos perdurables en la caracola
donde me acomoda.
En mis horas tristes, Laura,
recordaré el encuentro
y será Marbella, ad aeternum,
el plantío azucarado de tus decires
sobre Carlos,
y para nosotros el más grato recuerdo.
